Sebastopol, CA, May 5, 2011—What do you do after you change the world? You change it again, using open source, of course. For thirteen years, , the O'Reilly Open Source Convention, has put open source to work building the future. This year, we've added two new conferences. and have graduated from tracks at previous OSCONs to become two distinct events, co-located with OSCON. OSCON Data and OSCON Java premier July 25-27, while OSCON runs the entire week of July 25-29, 2011, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
Once considered a radical upstart, open source has moved from disruption to default. The language of open is spoken in increasingly larger spheres, and OSCON's program encompasses to explore all things open source. Chairs Edd Dumbill and Sarah Novotny have added new tracks to OSCON this year, including , , , , and , while returns for its second year.
